Mindi is a captivating trick-taking card game originating from India, where it enjoys considerable popularity. This game, known by various names such as Mindicote, MindiKot, and Dehla Pakad, involves not only luck but also strategic thinking, making it particularly appealing to those who enjoy cerebral challenges. Mindi is traditionally played among family and friends, often for extended periods, highlighting its role as a social pastime in Indian culture.

The gameplay involves two teams, each consisting of two players. The game is played with a modified deck derived from two standard 52-card decks, resulting in a total of 52 active cards. Certain cards numbered 2 through 7 are removed to heighten the game's dynamics.

<ul>
 <li>Each player is dealt 13 cards at the start of the game.</li>
 <li>The player who wins the turn selection round will choose one card to designate as the Supreme color card.</li>
 <li>During each turn, players must play one card, with the highest card winning that hand and granting the player the first turn in the next round.</li>
 <li>In cases where there are two Aces (or Kings/Queens/Jacks) played in a trick, the player who played the last Ace wins that hand.</li>
 <li>Players must follow suit; if a player does not have a card from the playing suit and no Supreme color has been declared, the winner of the turn selection round will reveal the Supreme color card.</li>
</ul>
